2019 Annual Harbor for Today’s Children Christmas Party

Each year we organize a Christmas Party benefiting the children at the Harbor for Today’s Children. Each child submits a wish list of what they want for Christmas and we help raise money to ensure each child receives what they ask for and has a Merry Christmas.

This year we were also able to donate the funds for the Harbor for Today’s Children to purchase a new passenger van.

2019 Evergreen Ride to the Rally Fundraising Gift Giving

The local charity selected to benefit from the 2019 Evergreen Ride to the Rally’s fundraising efforts was The Wheelhouse. The Wheelhouse is an organization located in Deer Park, Tx whose mission is to partner with donors and volunteers to provide a supportive environment and recovery tools for men affected with alcohol and drug addiction and help them return to society as functional, useful, and responsible members.

This year, we are proud to say we raised $20,000 and were able to help fund a new Supportive Housing facility for The Wheelhouse.

Evergreen North America Ride to the Rally

The Evergreen Ride to the Rally is our charity’s largest and most important fundraising event we organize each year. The Ride coincides with The Lone Star Rally in Galveston each November and is a police-escorted motorcycle Poker Run ending at a private party near Galveston’s Historic Strand District. All funds raised go directly to supporting local charities and organizations.

For this year’s ride, we are choosing to partner with The Wheelhouse to help them with their efforts to move forward on a capital campaign drive to build a new Supportive Housing facility, a much needed expansion to their already successful program.

The Wheelhouse is a local organization, located in Deer Park, whose mission is to partner with donors and volunteers to provide a supportive environment and recovery tools for men affected with alcohol and drug addiction and help them return to society as functional, useful, and responsible members.

A new Supportive Housing facility will be comprised of 4 apartment-style pods with common living and kitchen areas, allowing up to four men to live together, and share expenses and housekeeping responsibilities.

Join us on our drive to donate a much needed, brand-new, 15-passenger van to the Today’s Harbor for Children. We are matching dollar-for-dollar all donations provided through our Charity.

Today’s Harbor for Children empowers children who have faced abuse, neglect and hardships to take back their futures through an approach focused on providing them with a place in their residential community, a family-like structure and giving families a choice on how to move forward.

Who We Are

The Jon & Jacqueline Hodges Charitable Organization was founded in 2014 by Jon & Jackie Hodges with the intent to help students in our community and state achieve higher education and reach their full potentials. We support local organizations and charities whose mission is to help our community provide and foster environments that allow our children the ability to grow and develop into successful adults.

To increase the impact we can make on our community, we are actively involved in fundraising efforts. Our organization puts on The Evergreen Ride to the Rally each year and accepts donations of all sizes. Every dollar donated to our organization or raised through our fundraising efforts goes directly toward helping one of our chosen charities or organizations.

We are a registered Section 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
